Gopalakrishnan (Fondly known as Tirupur GK) which propelled him to lay the foundation of this unique styled GK Astro Foundation. Earlier this was established as a research institute by Tirupur S Gopalakrishnan with his extensive experience in analysing horoscopes and doing research on various aspects from various angles. Having been born into a family of astrologers, Shri S. Gopalakrishnan has been blessed by the Lord Sri Uchishta Maha Ganapathy and tutored in Astrology by his First preceptor and father Shri. N. Selvarasu Pillai, Shri Guru Rama Subbu and the preceptor in-absentia Shri K. S. Krishnamurthy (K. S. K) to take up Astrology as his mainstream for the prosperity of this world, giving up his highly paid dignified Profession of a Chemical Engineer in Tirupur. His thirst for knowledge drives him to take up extensive travel and hard times to acquire every branch of this science. He has written more than 50 books under various headings apart from being a Guest writer in the astrological magazine ‘Jeeva Jothidam’, conducting astrology classes and Prasanna Jyotish classes. He has trained more than 50,000 (Fifty thousand) students in astrology both through direct and online courses. He has undertaken extensive travel to Madras, Salem, Trichy, Madurai, Erode, Dharapuram, Kanchipuram, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukkottai, Dindigul, Tiruvannamalai. Etc., participating in various academic meetings and giving lectures on astrology in various topics. ‘Chandra Nadi’ the Brain Child of Shri S. Gopalakrishnan is a Unique innovation based on the principle of the ‘Master of the Mind’ Moon’s passage giving instantaneous results for the questions of the querist without being asked for. This book ‘Chandra Nadi’ penned by Shri S. Gopalakrishnan and published by him has reached remarkable sales of over 60,000 (Sixty thousand) copies which have been translated into English, Hindi, and Kannada apart from Tamil. Driving for the publication of its sixth edition. His books ‘Ashtamanagal Prasannam’, Marriage Matching in Practice’, ‘Jupiter Saturn Subsistence’, ‘Chandra Naadi’, ‘Punarpoo’, ‘Jupiter and Ketu (Liabilities)’, ‘Manthi’, ‘Divorce and Separation’, and ‘Planetary Transit and Dasa Period’ have been translated into English by eminent personalities and published.
With the Grace of my Lord Sri Uchishta Maha Ganapathy and through the prayers of our management team along with our students, blessings to all. This team has been formed by astrology enthusiasts who have not taken up astrology as their profession. Under the leadership of Shri K. S. Asokhan and other enthusiasts this GK Foundation, Tirupur is extending astrological services. Now a new institution under the guise of GK Astro Academy has been established in Valasaravkkam, Chennai and functions at 108, Chowdry Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai and is manned by Shri. K. S. Asokhan. As mentioned earlier the Tirupur prime Office is functioning as Head Office and Gurukul managed by Shri. S. Suresh in TTP Mill Ground, 39, R K Nagar, Saminathapuram Extension, Anupparpalayam Post, Tirupur 641652. On 27.08.2023 Our New Sankarankoil Office cum study centre headed by Smt. Aswini Thangalakshmi – Our Admin has been opened and started functioning by conducting online classes.
